Spaces that feel unmistakably you.
Interior Design
Karla Ovalle Design creates refined, deeply personal interiors for homes entering their next chapter—from thoughtful furnishing updates to full-scale kitchens, bathrooms, remodels, and custom builds.
The extraordinary lives in the details.
Designed by hand. Refined by experience.
I’m Karla Ovalle — an interior designer, artist, and lifelong observer of the way spaces make us feel.
Based in Santa Barbara, my approach is personal by design. I take the time to understand how you live, what you love, and what you want your home to become. From there, I bring together architecture, furnishings, materials, color, and custom details to create spaces that feel unmistakably yours.
My background in large-scale events taught me to think beyond individual details—to consider how people move through a space, how an environment feels as a whole, and how thoughtful details shape the experience. Today, that same attention to detail informs every residential project I take on.
My practice is grounded in formal interior design education, combining creative instinct with technical rigor. Whether I'm reworking a single room, developing a kitchen or bathroom, or guiding a home through a larger renovation, I believe good design should feel considered, collected, and entirely personal.
The extraordinary lives in the details. Let's find yours.
